# Agent Workspace

### Before you start

1. Sign in with your credentials.
2. Select your project from the project picker at the top of the page.
3. Confirm that your project already contains test cases before using the Cleaner Agent or Planner Agent.

The agents only work within the project you select.

The Cleaner Agent and Planner Agent rely on existing test case data. If your project is empty, start with the Author Agent.

### Where to find the agents

TCM Agents open as slide-in panels on the right side of the screen.

They appear on top of your current page, so you can keep your place while you work. You do not need to navigate to a separate area of Test Context Manager.

* **Author Agent** — open it from the **Test Cases** page toolbar using **✦ AI Author**
* **Cleaner Agent** — open it from the **Test Cases** page toolbar using **✦ AI Cleaner**
* **Planner Agent** — open it from the **Test Plans** page toolbar using **✦ AI Planner**

Each button appears in the top-right toolbar of its page and uses the sparkle icon.

### Next step

Read [Agents overview](/appx_documentation/agent-workspace-documentation/getting-started/overview.md) to understand what each agent does and when to use it.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://mozarkdocs.gitbook.io/appx_documentation/agent-workspace-documentation/agent-workspace.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
